Introducing the new Alphaeus.

Why we rebuilt our platform and our site from the ground up, and what security-first operations infrastructure means in practice.

Alphaeus has a new home. Same operators, same discipline, a new name for the standard we hold ourselves to: security-first operations infrastructure for firms whose work has to hold up to scrutiny. This site is the front door of that platform, and this entry is the first in a section we intend to keep honest.

What changed

The short version: the way we describe the work finally caught up with the work itself.

For years we ran security, technology, automation, marketing, and continuity for independent financial advisors as five separate conversations. They were never separate in practice. A compliance obligation shapes the infrastructure. The infrastructure shapes what can be automated. Automation produces the evidence the examiner asks for. Treating those as one system is the whole point, so we named the system and built the site around it.

You will find that system laid out as the five pillars: Security & Compliance, Technology & Infrastructure, Automation & Intelligence, Growth & Marketing, and Continuity & Partnerships. Five disciplines engineered as one system, one team, one invoice, one point of accountability. Independent financial advisors are our flagship vertical and where our depth was built. The infrastructure serves any firm that runs on evidence.

What did not change: the people. We are operators, not consultants. We lived inside the problems we solve, and we built the company we wished existed when we were on the other side of the table.

Security-first is a structure, not a feature

Every vendor says security matters. Most of them mean it the way a feature matters: a line on a datasheet, an add-on you can buy, a module that gets configured after the important decisions are made.

We mean something structurally different. Security is the default state. It is not a layer we bolt onto your operations. It is the ground your operations are built on, and every other capability inherits it. When we automate a workflow, the automation logs every run because the logging was never optional. When we build a website, the compliance guardrails are in from day one because there was never a version without them. When we deploy infrastructure, access is governed and encrypted before the first user signs in.

Evidence over promises. If we cannot show you a control running, we do not claim it.

That phrase is on our home page because it is the operating rule, not a slogan. Compliance evidence is collected while the controls run, not reconstructed the week before an exam. When the request letter arrives, the documentation already exists. That is what security-first means in practice: not a stronger lock on the same door, but a building framed differently from the foundation up.

What you can do here today

The site is built to be read, not just skimmed, and three routes are worth your time.

Read the five pillars. That page is the clearest statement of what we do and how the disciplines reinforce each other. If you run an independent practice and want the version written entirely in your language, the Advisor Hub is the same platform seen from the advisor's chair: one relationship, every capability, no runaround.

Look at the Terminal. Every Alphaeus engagement includes it: a primary-source filing terminal that reads congressional trades, insider filings, federal contract awards, and institutional positions straight from the public registries. No vendor summaries. Every figure opens the document behind it. We built it because "read the filings, not the coverage" is the same instinct as "evidence over promises," applied to markets instead of controls.

Start a conversation. An assessment is a focused conversation about your practice, then a plain-English audit of where you stand. No generic packages, and you approve the scope before we touch anything. Response within one business day. Usually faster.

What comes next

This section grows from here. We will write about what AI agents actually do inside an advisory practice, what security posture means when the examiner is the audience, and what automation actually returns when you measure it honestly. The first entries are already queued.

Two commitments about how we will write. First, plain English, always: if we cannot explain it clearly, we do not understand it well enough yet, and we will not publish it. Second, no invented numbers. When we cite a figure, it comes from our own measured client engagements or a named public source, and when a number is illustrative we will say so.

Welcome to the new Alphaeus. Trust is the product. Security is the foundation.
